Skin Changes Color Due To Vitiligo, Salma Kyana Shares How To Overcome It

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta's Daughter Favorite 2023, Salma Kyana shares stories related to beauty. For her, beauty is not only about smooth skin and acne-freeness, but how women still feel valuable and beautiful regardless of physical appearance.

Salma talked about her experience during school, precisely when she was in junior high school, she really cared about her appearance.

Unfortunately, his experience remains a victim of bullying due to his physical condition which was deemed not in accordance with the beauty standards at that time.

"In the past, when I was in junior high school, I was a woman who really cared about appearances that were everything. At junior high school I was bullied because I said my chest was porous. So I said it was tripled," said Salma Kyana in the Central Jakarta area, Sunday, August 11.

"There I realized how come my body is not like women in magazines according to beauty standards. I care about the appearance so I changed my appearance," continued Salma.

After growing up, Salma finally tried to change her appearance until she finally succeeded in becoming a model and career in the beauty pageant world.

Salma's struggle got tougher when at the end of 2019, she was diagnosed with autoimmune which diagnosed her with vitiligo or white spots on her skin.

Salma said that he did not want to make his condition a necessity and instead turned it into a force.

"Actually, God gave me what from there I realized I had to get to know myself. It turned out to be a beautiful glowing appearance, it was good but it was only a fraction of us," said Salma.
