There Are 158 More COVID-19 Patients In NTT, The Most In Kupang City, As Many As 79 People
JAKARTA - The Provincial Health Office of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) noted that the number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 increased by 158 people as of Monday, March 22 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province is 12.032.
"There are 158 additional cases of COVID-19 in NTT. The additional cases occurred on Monday (22/3)", said Secretary of the NTT Provincial Health Office, David Mandala when contacted in Kupang as reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 23.
He said, 158 positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 were spread across nine districts/cities, namely Sikka Regency 5 people, West Manggarai Regency 2 people, Southwest Sumba Regency 4 people, and Ende Regency 5 people.
The increase of COVID-19 cases also occurred in East Sumba Regency as many as 13 people, East Flores Regency 7 people, Kupang Regency 20 people.
Meanwhile, Timor Tengah Selatan Regency (TTS) has an additional 22 residents who have contracted COVID-19, while in Kupang City there are an additional 79 residents who were confirmed positive for COVID-19.

In addition to the addition of COVID-19 patients, David Mandala said there were an additional 115 COVID-19 patients who were declared cured. According to him, 1 person who recovered came from Ende Regency, 55 people from Kupang City, 2 people from East Flores Regency, 3 people from Kupang Regency, and 8 people from Nagekeo Regency.
Meanwhile, in Ngada Regency, there were an additional 27 COVID-19 patients who were declared cured and Sikka Regency 10 who were declared cured.
In addition, in East Sumba Regency there were 7 people, and South Central Timor Regency (TTS) 2 people who were declared cured of exposure to the Coronavirus.
"The total number of recovered COVID-19 patients in NTT reached 9.227", said David Mandala. He also said that 326 people died due to exposure to the Coronavirus in NTT.
