JAKARTA - The Provincial Health Office of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) noted that the number of confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 increased by 158 people as of Monday, March 22 yesterday. The total number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the province is 12.032.

"There are 158 additional cases of COVID-19 in NTT. The additional cases occurred on Monday (22/3)", said Secretary of the NTT Provincial Health Office, David Mandala when contacted in Kupang as reported by Antara, Tuesday, March 23.

He said, 158 positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 were spread across nine districts/cities, namely Sikka Regency 5 people, West Manggarai Regency 2 people, Southwest Sumba Regency 4 people, and Ende Regency 5 people.

The increase of COVID-19 cases also occurred in East Sumba Regency as many as 13 people, East Flores Regency 7 people, Kupang Regency 20 people.

Meanwhile, Timor Tengah Selatan Regency (TTS) has an additional 22 residents who have contracted COVID-19, while in Kupang City there are an additional 79 residents who were confirmed positive for COVID-19.
