Rejang Lebong State Civil Apparatus Allegedly Involved In The Brokering Of Civil Servants, Owns Assembled Firearms
JAKARTA - A State Civil Apparatus (ASN) on duty in Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province, who is arrested by the police for possession of homemade firearms is threatened to be fired.
The Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Rejang Lebong Regency, R.A. Denni, said that the report on the arrest of FN (30), a resident of Curup Sub-district, North Curup District, had reached him, and he would be processed in accordance with PP No.53/2010 concerning Civil Servant Discipline.
"We will process it in accordance with Government Regulation No. 53/2010 concerning Civil Servant Discipline. The threat is light punishment, moderate punishment, and severe punishment which will lead to dismissal," said Denni at Rejang Lebong, as reported by Antara, Monday, March 22.
He said he would discuss the problem of State Civil Apparatus together with the Inspectorate and the Personnel and Human Resources Development Agency (BKPSDM) of Rejang Lebong.
In addition to discussing the problem of State Civil Apparatus, he said, he would also look at the legal process of the person concerned, and after that, a recommendation would be issued for the status of State Civil Apparatus who served in one of the sub-districts in Rejang Lebong to be submitted to the local regent as the top leadership.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit, Police Commissioner Adjutant Rahmat Hadi Fitrianto, said that investigating officers are currently investigating the possession of this homemade revolver-type firearm and investigating other cases.
"For the case of firearm ownership, it has entered the investigation stage. We are also still conducting deepening of the information which states that this perpetrator was involved in a fraud case but no one has yet made a report so that it can be followed up," he explained.
Based on the information submitted to his party, it was stated that this State Civil Apparatus was suspected of being involved in the case of civil servant brokering whose victims not only came from Bengkulu Province but also from Java but so far no one has made a report.
Previously, this State Civil Apparatus officer of the Rejang Lebong Regency Government was arrested by the Intel Kodim 0409/Rejang Lebong on March 1, 2021, at around 09.30 western Indonesia time for possession of firearms and then handed over to Rejang Lebong Police. This State Civil Apparatus officer fired a homemade gun once after fighting in his household.
