Two Malaysian Passport Smugglers Arrested By Immigration At Soetta Airport Given A Wage Of IDR 3 Million By The Orderer Of An Indian Citizen
TANGERANG - Head of the Soekarno-Hatta Immigration Office, Subki Miludi revealed that his party had identified the order of 12 Malaysian passports with the initials R, an Indian citizen (WN). The order promised the perpetrator 1,000 Ringgit or Rp. 3 million to deliver the goods through Soekarno Hatta Airport (Soetta).
"Indian citizens with the lure of 1000 thousand ringgit or Rp. 3 million," he said.
The two perpetrators managed to pass the Soekarno Hatta Airport Immigration examination, on May 30, 2024. However, when they checked their luggage, 12 Malaysian passports were caught by the Customs and Excise of Soetta Airport.
The Soekarno-Hatta TPI Special Class Immigration Office secured 2 Malaysian citizens (WN) with the initials SK (47) and JM (34). They were arrested for smuggling 12 Malaysian passports through Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City.

He explained that at the time of the incident the perpetrator managed to escape the Immigration examination. However, the passport evidence was caught red-handed by the Customs and Excise Office of Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang City.
Currently, both of them have been handed over to Immigration at Soetta Airport. They were charged with Article 130 of Law No. 6 of 2011 concerning Immigration with a maximum imprisonment of 2 years and a maximum fine of IDR 200 million.
