Cantin Gedung SDN Pondok Bambu Terbakar

JAKARTA - A building located on Jalan Gading IIH, RT 05/11, Pondok Bambu Village, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta, caught fire on Tuesday, July 23, afternoon.

According to information gathered, the object caught fire was the school building at SDN 01 Pondok Bambu. The flames hit the canteen section of the school building.

"The object caught fire in the school canteen," said East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. officer in his report.

This fire incident was reported by residents that occurred at 12.04 WIB. Sub-Department Gulkarmat then dispatched 12 fire engines with 60 personnel to the location of the fire.

"Starting the fire extinguishing operation at 12.23 WIB. Currently, the fire extinguishing process is still ongoing. Status is still red," he said.

Until this news was written, officers were still struggling to extinguish the fire which continued to grow this afternoon.
