The Body Of A Man In A Sack Behind The Bantargebang TPST Office, A Murder Victim

BEKASI - Police suspect that the man who was found dead in the Water Shelter River or to be precise behind the Bantargebang TPST office was a murder victim.

"Meanwhile, the alleged murder," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Bekasi City Metro Police, AKBP Muhammad Firdaus when confirmed, Thursday, July 18.

He said the victim was found on Wednesday, July 17, in the afternoon. When the incident happened, the victim was found wrapped in a tied hand and his head wrapped in sacks, so that it strengthened the investigation team if the body was a murder victim.

Therefore, his party is currently investigating the case to reveal the perpetrator of the murder. He added that this disclosure involved the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya.

"We are conducting an investigation to reveal the perpetrators," he said.

Previously, Firdaus revealed that initially the body was found to have started when a witness named Tiyo and witness Nurdin were fishing together on the banks of the river holding water behind the Bantargebang TPST.

Then the witness saw that there was a pile of floating shirts that were being eaten by a lizard. When the witness looked closer, it turned out to be a corpse wrapped in a sack.

Currently, the victim has been evacuated to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta to determine the cause of death of the victim.
