Bogor Regency Government Re-checks Bianglala Tourism Permits At Puncak Tea Gardens
BOGOR - The Bogor Regency Government reviewed the permit for the construction of a tourist attraction carried out by one of the Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) of West Java Province in the tea plantation area of the Puncak Tourism Area.
Acting Regent of Bogor Asmawa Tosepu explained that the review was carried out with the blessing of the West Java Provincial Government as a form of support and commitment to structuring the Puncak Tourism Area.
The review, he said, was carried out to ensure that development did not interfere with the water catchment area.
"The mainstay project was built by PT Jaswita as a BUMD for West Java Province. We went to the field to check the permits. If it is not appropriate, we will act according to the applicable regulations," said Asmawa as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, July 3.
Efforts to review the project also forced the construction process carried out by PT Jaswita to be temporarily suspended.
"Yes, that's right (it was dismissed). If the dismissal was carried out by the management itself. Our team has gone to the field," said Asmawa.
