Kemenparekraft Facilitates Activity Licensing To Revitalize The Economy
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraft) has provided ease of licensing activities through activity digitization services as an effort to stimulate the economy in Indonesia. Minister of Tourism Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno said that the digital licensing service policy for this activity was just launched by President Joko Widodo on June 24. The goal is to make it easier for the implementers to hold national to international activities to drive the economy. "We must seize this opportunity, that by holding national activities, such as music concerts, it will bring in and increase the volume of visitors in the area," said Sandiaga, quoting Antara, Sunday, June 30. Sandiaga said that the digitalization service policy for organizing this activity is an answer to the request for 4,000 national and international scale activities that want transformations to produce economic impacts with a total of around Rp. 170 trillion. "We hope that with the presence of this policy will facilitate business space and employment opportunities for music sub-sectors and other sub-sectors," he said. According to him, Makassar became the area that began to capture the opportunity by holding Makassar Music Conference (MC) 2024 which was held by Prolog Fest on June 28-30. Sandiaga was also present at this annual activity as one of the speakers at talkshow presenting various art actors, especially local musicians in Eastern Indonesia.

Sandiaga said that his party continues to provide totality support to musicians and the music sub-sector through the digitalization policy of licensing activities initiated by Menparekraft. "Other support is my presence as Menparekraft, showing proof of our seriousness in providing support to the music ecosystem in Makassar and the Tourism Office which is our partner," he said. Another support, Sandiaga continued, is the budget, although the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy's budget isbated but continues to carry out concepts that can touch important layers of the music ecosystem. Including protecting copyright, intellectual rights from the music industry so that they have the opportunity to be more prosperous.
