Acting Regent Of Jayapura Please Diskominfo Increase Data Security
JAKARTA - Jayapura Regent Triwarno Purnomo asked the Communication and Information Office to improve data security.
"Indeed, cyber attacks in cyberspace need to be a concern so that Diskominfo must quickly prevent hacking by carrying out layered cybersecurity," said Jayapura Regent Triwarno Purnomo, quoting Antara, Sunday, June 30.
According to the Acting Regent, data security is very important to be protected, especially the budget, program achievements and activities this year.
"We think the human resources (HR) in the Jayapura Regency Diskominfo are very good at being able to create a reliable security system so that it cannot be broken into by hackers," he said.
He explained that if internally they were not able to create a good layered security system, they could use information technology (IT) personnel from outside.

"The point is that the vital data of the Jayapura Regency Government must be properly protected so that it cannot be penetrated by any hackers," he said.
He added that hacker attacks in Indonesia should be an important note for every administration of government in the regions, especially Papua Province.
"We really hope that this problem will be resolved quickly so that local government administrators are not worried about the dangers of hackers who can come suddenly," he said.
