Pondok Aren Police Chief Admits No One Was Involved In Online Gambling And Pinjol
TANGERANG - Pondok Aren Police Chief Kompol Bambang Askar Sodiq conducted an examination of the cellphone belonging to members in his ranks, to find out whether they were involved in online gambling practices or not.
Not only online gambling, Bambang Askar also wants to know if any of his members are involved with online loans (pinjol).
This sudden inspection was carried out to follow up on the instructions of the President of the Republic of Indonesia President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. The examination was carried out starting from the Deputy Chief of Police to Binmas Pondok Aren Police.

Furthermore, Bambang admitted that when the results of this cellphone inspection, no members were found using the loan application and online gambling site.
"If, for example, we give sanctions, we also have regulations from the police, regarding disciplinary regulations, they will be handled by police ethics," he said.
