Street Vendors And Ojek Bases In Cengkareng Ordered By Satpol PP

West Jakarta Satpol PP regulates the illegal tents that have been used by street vendors (PKL) and motorcycle taxi posts on Jalan Mangga Besar II RW 02 Taman Sari Village, Monday, May 17.

Head of the Section for Security and Public Order (Kasi Kamtribum) West Jakarta Satpol PP Edison Butar Butar said the control was aimed at restoring the function of public facilities in the area.

"So the point is to restore the function as a public facility so that people can comfortably wear it," said Edison, ANTARA, Monday, May 27.

Furthermore, Edison said the control of illegal tents in the area was carried out by the Satpol PP Taman Sari apparatus.

"Earlier, the Satpol PP Taman Sari controlled it, earlier I had an activity in Cengkareng," said Edison.

Separately, the Head of Taman Sari Village, Abdul Malik Raharulun, said that the control was carried out because the Taman Sari area was included in the location schedule which was arranged in the second quarter.

"So there are nine street vendors and one online motorcycle taxi post that we organize or arrange because it is included in the arrangement of the second quarter", said Abdul.

Furthermore, Abdul said that the control involving joint Satpol PP officers from the Taman Sari sub-district and sub-district, as well as assisted by PPSU officers from Taman Sari Village, was carried out after the socialization of control.

"The socialization includes verbal forms of warning letters 1 and 2. However, they (PKL) are cooperative to jointly organize the area. They dismantle their own stalls of merchandise," said Abdul.

Now, Abdul is arranging the area in the second quarter on the Beton River side, Jalan Mangga Besar II, RW 02, Taman Sari Village. The arranged area is estimated to have a length of 90 meters with a width of 1-2 meters.
