Danny Pomanto Emphasizes On Makassar Recover, The House Of Representatives Members Are Asked To Be Active In Educating

MAKASSAR - Secretary of Regional Representatives Council (DPRD) Makassar City, South Sulawesi, Harun Rani requested that the staff together with council members actively educate the 'Makassar Recover' program to residents. This program is a breakthrough by the Mayor of Makassar M Ramdhan Pomanto (Dany Pomanto).

This was conveyed by Harun Rani when holding a meeting with special staff to accompany members of the Makassar City DPRD. Wednesday, March 10.

"We appeal to all staff, to intensify the socialization related to 'Makassar Recover' because we are part of the Makassar City Government", he said in a meeting with the Special Staff for Student Affairs.

The staff of the council members was asked to socialize the program initiated by Danny Pomanto-Fatmawati Rusdi massively in every agenda of the council members' activities. This socialization was emphasized by Harun Rani to fully support the Makassar City Government in the success of the COVID-19 handling program.

"This program should be fully supported and successful, because we want the COVID-19 to be handled properly through the Makassar mayor's strategic program", continued Harun Rani.

COVID-19 Vaccination Festival

The Makassar City Government has scheduled a COVID-19 vaccination festival. The goal is to invite the people of Makassar not to be afraid of being injected with vaccines.

"We will make things that are interesting and not creepy. God willing, everyone obeys health protocols according to procedures. Vaccination is not part of the burden on society but is a community need", said Mayor of Makassar Moh Ramdhan Pomanto (Danny Pomanto) when observing mass vaccinations at the Graha Pena building, Makassar, South Sulawesi, Wednesday, March 9.

Danny Pomanto explained the concept is to invite the public to participate in the morning prayers, then give a concrete explanation about vaccination.

After that, the community or participants who want to receive the vaccine are provided with seats while still implementing health protocols, keeping a distance, and wearing masks.

"Our kick-off starts next week with the dawn prayer. There will be a thousand chairs prepared and the distance is determined. The plan is at the Losari Beach Pavilion, but if it rains we carry it out in the Karebosi field", explained Danny Pomanto.

The concept itself, said Danny, would first be to perform the morning prayers. After that, only the participants sat on the seats that had been provided.

For the initial implementation or kick off next week, it begins with the morning prayer and it is provided with 1000 seats.

"It seems like on Losari Beach if it is not raining or at Karebosi. It must be in an open place so that there are no queues and jostling", he explained.

As for the technicalities, 200 vaccinators were prepared complete with the stages of the vaccine standardization procedure.
