Backflow, Jasa Marga Records 875,434 Vehicles Crossing Jabotabek D+4 Lebaran 2024
PT Jasa Marga recorded that traffic backflow on the Jabotabek and West Java (West Java) toll roads reached 875,434 vehicles accumulated in the period H+1 to D+4 Lebaran 2024 or Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri.
"875,434 vehicles are accumulated from monitoring on the Jagorawi Toll Road, the Inner City Toll Road, the JORR Toll Road and the Purbaleunyi Toll Road," said the Marketing and Communication Department Head of Jasa Marga Metropolitan Tollroad Panji Satriya in a statement, Tuesday, April 16, which was confiscated by Antara.
Panji said that his party recorded an increase in the traffic flow of vehicles on the Jabotabek and West Java toll roads for the period H + 1 to D + 4 Lebaran or 12-15 April 2024.
He detailed the volume of Jabotabek traffic on the Jagorawi toll road, which was observed to be quite high from the direction of Puncak, Sukabumi and its surroundings to Jabotabek via GT Ciawi 2, recorded 182,376 vehicles or 30,07 percent higher than normal traffic of 140,213 vehicles.
Furthermore, the increase in backflow vehicle traffic entering Jabotabek via GT Halim, the Inner City toll road, was recorded at 279,676 vehicles, an increase of 18 percent compared to normal traffic of 237,019 vehicles.
Meanwhile, the increase in vehicle traffic from the MBZ flyover to Jabotabek on the JORR toll road through GT Cikunir 6 was 99,450 passing vehicles, 142,63 percent higher than normal traffic of 40,989 vehicles.

Meanwhile, for the West Java region, it was observed that vehicle traffic leaving Bandung City to Jabotabek via GT Pasteur (entrance) of the Padaleunyi toll road, recorded 136,866 vehicles or 13.31 percent higher than normal traffic of 120,784 vehicles.
Vehicle traffic from Rancaekek, Sumedang, Garut and its surroundings was observed to increase the volume of traffic on GT Cileunyi (entrance), as many as 177,066 vehicles passing, an increase of 55.70 percent compared to normal traffic as many as 113,722 vehicles.
Panji appealed to the public to prepare themselves before traveling by ensuring that the physical and vehicle are in prime condition, paying attention to fuel adequacy and e-toll balances for travel convenience.
He also reminded road users to only use the same e-toll when tapping at incoming toll gates and tapping at exit toll gates on toll roads with closed transaction systems such as the Cipularang and Padaleunyi toll roads and the JORR II Toll Road.
"Renew traffic information, especially related to traffic engineering such as contraflow, one way, and odd-even on toll roads by accessing Jasa Marga's official information channel through social media, the Travoy application, Jasa Marga 24-hour call center at 14080 telephone numbers," said Panji.
