Pangdam Jaya Ensures The Location Around The Regional Munisi Warehouse Is Safe

JAKARTA - Pangdam Jaya Major General TNI Mohamad Hasan ensured that around the location of the warehouse that exploded, it was safe so that people would no longer have to worry.

"We appeal to all people around this location to be calm and don't have to worry anymore, because we value the impact of not being able to cause another explosion," said Major General Hasan, quoted from Antara, Sunday, March 31.

Major General Hasan said that although it was certain that it was safe, members of the TNI would conduct a sweep around the location of the explosion which was close to the Regional Munition Warehouse (Gudpur) of Kodam Jaya, namely in Ciangsana Village, Bogor Regency.

According to him, the sweeping was carried out to ensure that the shells and remnants of the material that exploded and outside the warehouse area could be secured and cleaned by officers.

However, said Major General Hasan, officers have managed to collect and secure the casings or munitions that were thrown outside.

"We ask the public if they find the shells or munitions that are thrown to be reported. However, so far, we have secured all the impacts of the shells that have been thrown," he said.

He said that currently the blackout process had been completed and this was thanks to the cooperation of all elements involved.

"Earlier, we received assistance from the DKI Fire Department and we managed to extinguish everything," he said.

Previously, Hasan told that the explosion incident in the munitions warehouse occurred after the breaking of the fast. The explosion also occurred in Warehouse 6 of the 16 warehouses in Gud cheap.

"So, at 18.05 WIB, smoke was found in warehouse number 6, this cheap Gud of Kodam Jaya was found," said the Pangdam at the location.

At the time of the incident, members of the TNI on duty immediately told local residents not to panic. If you find a bullet casing, report it immediately.

"It turned out that it was an indication of an explosion so that members immediately informed pickets to notify local residents that an explosion had occurred," he said.
