Acting Governor Of West Java Says 135 Families Had Evacuated Due To Explosions At The Paldam Jaya Munisi Warehouse
Acting Governor of West Java Bey Machmudin said that 135 heads of families (KK) were displaced due to the fire from the explosion of the Paldam Jaya Munisi Warehouse. They were placed in two locations.
"There are 85 families who are temporarily at the village head (Kades), and 50 families at the Darussalam Mosque in the City of Tourism," Bey told reporters, Saturday, March 30.
It is undeniable that hundreds of families were worried about the incident. However, Bey said that his party had provided assistance to calm him down.
In addition, Bey said, the government will help residents by building public kitchens to facilitate the daily needs of residents.
"The Regent has gone to the location in Ciangsana Village, making sure the residents are safe and the Regent calms the residents," he said.
Apart from that, Bey emphasized that conditions were safe. People around the Paldam Jaya Munisi Warehouse are asked to remain calm.
"Essentially, the conditions are under control," said Bey.

The explosion of the Paldam Jaya Munis Warehouse occurred at around 18.05 WIB. Pangdam Jaya Maj. Gen. Mohamad Hasan said the cause of the explosion was ammunition that had expired.
From the results of the analysis, it is also believed that the expired ammunition experienced friction with each other. Thus, causing sparks and causing large flames.
In fact, due to the explosion, several shells were thrown into residential areas. Currently, the object has been secured by local TNI members.
