"We remind the public not to be around the banks of the railroad tracks. Moreover, creating content is because it endangers safety," said Suprasetyo to reporters, Monday, February 5.
Another appeal was also made by the Matraman Police Chief, at a location often used as a train content creation event by the Railfans community.
The location visited by the police was in an empty land area belonging to PT KAI in the Tengseng area, which also has many illegal buildings, a prostitution area on Jalan Pisangan Baru Tengah, Pisangan Baru Village, Matraman on Sunday, February 4.
The police gave an appeal to prevent the victim from being hit by a train because the area was prone to a train accident.
"Our members met several children who were creating content on the outskirts of the railroad tracks," he said.
He also invited residents to remind each other to maintain safety because there were already victims who were hit by the train while creating content.
"To create content, you should first ask PT. KAI and local residents for permission, not just create content," he said.
