Steal Shoes Worth IDR 45 Million, Employees Of PT SCI Arrested

JAKARTA - Three employees of the largest shoe company in the city of Salatiga are suspects in the theft case at his place of work, PT SCI, on Jalan Lingkar Selatan Salatiga, Randuacir Argomulyo, Salatiga City.

MUA (30), RAM (22), GS (21), stole shoes that were carried out in a sustainable manner. Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Salatiga Police, AKP Arifin Suryani, said that based on Police Report No: LP/B/08/I/2024/SPKT/Res Sltg/Central Java Police, January 29, 2024, the Salatiga Police Criminal Investigation Unit conducted an investigation and asked for witness testimony in the PT SCI environment.

A Line Finishing Leader at the company said there was a shortage or loss of 30 pairs of shoe production items estimated at Rp45,000,000. He said the shoes were not sold in Indonesia.

From the results of the development, the Salatiga Police Satreskrim again managed to secure 2 (two) other people who did the same thing.

"From the hands of the three suspects, investigators managed to confiscate 6 pairs of shoes of various sizes, a motorcycle number H 5379 BK, and a backpack." explained AKP Arifin Suryani.

Salatiga Police Chief AKBP Aryuni Novitasari said the perpetrator was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 64 of the Criminal Code, with a maximum penalty of 7 years in prison.
