Broken Sling Rope, Two Gondola Workers Trapped On Top Of The UNJ Rawamangun Building When Cleaning The Building

JAKARTA - Two gondola workers were caught on a GOndola sling cable while cleaning the UNJ building, Rawamangun Village, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta, Friday, February 2, afternoon.

The two GOndola workers are known to be Reza (37) and Dimas Saputra (28). Both of them were trapped while doing work cleaning the building.

"The Gondola workers are stuck in the Gondola. They are cleaning the building but the Gondola rope is broken and hanging. They are still in the basket," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed, Friday, February 2.

The evacuation process for the two Gondola workers was carried out by the rescue team of the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. The evacuation process of the two workers lasted for 30 minutes.

"The victim was successfully evacuated safely by 10 rescue personnel. The situation is under control, there are no injuries," he said.
