Half Naked Body Found In East Jakarta And Bekasi Border KBT Flow

JAKARTA - A man's body was found dead in the East Flood Canal River (KBT) Jalan Inspeksi Kanal Timur, Ujung Menteng border Cakung Jakarta Timur and Medan Satria Bekasi, Friday, February 2, noon.

The victim's condition was swollen and emitted an unpleasant odor. The victim was found in the position of half naked without pants and wearing only a t-shirt.

The victim's body was found by the East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept. rescue team and evacuated.

"That's the body of the drowning victim. It has been found in Ujung Menteng," said Head of East Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman when confirmed.

The victim is identified as Abdul Rohman (25), a resident of Jalan HM Sabar who was reported missing, drowned in the Cipinang Hulu River, RT 04/01, Rambutan Village, Ciracas District, East Jakarta since last Wednesday, January 31.

According to witness testimony, the victim and two of his friends were playing in swimming water in Cipinang River, which at that time experienced an increase in water discharge. However, for a while, the victim's body was washed away and drowned in the Cipinang River.
