Police Arrest 3 Youths Involved In Stabbing On Jalan RE Martadinata

CILACAP - Satreskrim Polresta Cilacap arrested 3 perpetrators of the stabbing which resulted in Doni Riyadi (36) being seriously injured, covered in blood on Jalan RE Martadinata, Tambakreja Village, South Cilacap District, Cilacap Regency.

The three perpetrators with the initials FP (33), WSA (24) and IG (22) were arrested at the WSA residence in Tegalkamulyan Village, South Cilacap.

Cilacap Police Chief Kombes Ruruh Wicaksono said the persecution took place on Sunday, January 21, at 01.00 WIB.

At that time, the three suspects rode a motorbike to take their brother. In the middle of the trip, there was an argument with three other motorists at the scene.

"In the vicinity of the incident, there were words that offended the suspect, so he hit each other and avoided. The victim was injured with an ax by the suspect hitting his neck and hands," said Kombes Ruruh, in a written statement, Wednesday, January 31.

Ruruh also said that the suspect and the group of victims did not know each other. The suspect was offended by the words made by the victim. Not only that, the two groups were also affected by alcohol.

"Kapak was used to process fish, when it was carried squeezed in the leg, because he saw his sister being beaten and threatened, the suspect took an ax and was directed at one of the suspects," he said.

The police chief added that the condition of the survivors is still being treated and the wound is still in the healing process.

For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning persecution, which carries a maximum sentence of 7 years in prison.
