Near Tanjung Priok Terminal, Black Grandmax Driver's Cellphone Snatched Amid Congestion

JAKARTA A mobile phone snatching action belonging to a black Daihatsu Grandmax driver at Tanjung Priok Terminal, North Jakarta has gone viral on social media. Two perpetrators fled so quickly and spread after successfully getting the stolen goods.

In the video, it can be seen that the elderly (elderly) victim got out of the wheel trying to catch up to the perpetrators. However, his efforts failed because the perpetrator fled faster. The action occurred in the middle of a traffic jam at the train door.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Tanjung Priok Police, Iptu Idris, confirmed the incident. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, January 24.

"That's right. This victim was delivering from Cilincing. After arriving at Tanjung Priok Terminal, his cellphone was suddenly stolen," said Iptu Idris when confirmed, Wednesday, January 24.

The victim is said to be making a police report. Meanwhile, the police are searching for the two perpetrators.

"The victim is still going to make a prison first. But we have checked the crime scene," he concluded.

Iptu Idris appealed to the public not to be careless and negligent in certain situations.
