This incident took 3 members of Amri's family. Ami Kusuma Dewi (35) Amri's sister, Mrs. Thio (74) Amri's biological mother, and Mr. Sumedi Riyanto (80) is Amri's father. One survivor is an 8-year-old boy, the son of Ami Kusuma, Amri's nephew.

According to Amri, his parents already knew that Pertamina's gas station wall was fragile. However, Amri could not do much to prevent her parents from trading beside the wall.

Moreover, Amri's parents have been trading at the location for a long time, since he was a child. That's why they don't want the location of the source of their livelihood to be released, even though in the end it ends in disaster.

"Yes, I already know it's fragile, but still trading," he said.
