Residents Of Petamburan Panic, One House Caught Fire Due To An Electric Short Circuit

JAKARTA - A permanent house located in a densely populated area on Jalan KS Tubun, Petamburan Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, was destroyed by fire, Tuesday, January 23.

"The object caught fire to a densely populated house, a type of permanent building. Only one house caught fire," said Head of the Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Asril Rizal when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, January 23.

The fire was caused by an electrical short circuit from the power cable at the scene. A total of 7 fire engines with 35 personnel were deployed to extinguish the fire.

"The fire was successfully extinguished at 14:33 WIB. Currently, the fire status is green, the extinguishing process is declared complete," he said.

Officers are still collecting data at the location of the fire. Losses due to the fire cannot be concluded. There were no casualties or injuries as a result of this fire incident.
