JAKARTA Of the 5 suspects in the beating of two members of the Satpol PP in front of Plaza Indonesia, Central Jakarta, 4 of them were positive for using methamphetamine and marijuana.
"We conducted urine tests on five suspects," said Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Susatyo Purnomo Condro to VOI at the scene, Wednesday, January 3.
The suspect with the initials LH is known to be positive for using methamphetamine, the suspect's initials SM is positive for methamphetamine and marijuana. The suspect's initials SR was positive for marijuana and BD was positive for methamphetamine.
"The US suspect is clean, does not use drugs," he said.

At the time of the incident, the perpetrators carried out acts of beatings under the influence of drugs.
"The motive (temporary because) is a misunderstanding. I emphasize that the culture of violence should not exist in Central Jakarta," he said.
For his actions, the five suspects were charged with Article 170 of the Criminal Code with a maximum imprisonment of 7 years.
