Barbuk 25 Crime Cases Destroyed By The West Sumatra Dharmasraya Kejari, Including Togel Cases

SUMBAR - The Dharmasraya District Attorney's Office (Kejari) in West Sumatra (West Sumatra) destroyed evidence (barbuk) from 25 criminal cases that had been signed, Thursday, November 23.

Head of the Dharmasraya Kejari, Dodik Hermawan, said that the evidence of the crime was the delegation of the case revealed by the Dharmasraya Resort Police.

He said the evidence destroyed consisted of narcotics of methamphetamine weighing 2.6 grams along with suction devices, plastics, and digital scales, then 1.5 kilograms of marijuana, evidence of lottery gambling, and several mobile phones.

"The destruction of evidence was carried out by burning, blending, and destroying. Most of the evidence destroyed was a case that occurred during the July-November 2023 period," he said on Punjung Island, West Sumatra, Thursday, November 23, which was confiscated by Antara.

He said the evidence that was destroyed was still dominated by 13 cases of methamphetamine and the rest were cases of other general crimes, such as theft, embezzlement, mixing of fuel, gambling, and heavy equipment.

He stated that the Dharmasraya Kejari had destroyed evidence three times throughout 2023. First in January 2023. Second in mid-2023, and today.

According to him, the destruction indicates that criminal acts are still high in Dharmasraya, especially cases of narcotics abuse.

"Although the number that was destroyed today is not much, this is evidence of cases that can endanger many people, and can damage future generations of people," he said.

He said the destruction of all this evidence was a form of synergy between law enforcers in this area in resolving cases or legal problems.

Thus, he said, the handling of special narcotics cases was a separate emphasis for members in carrying out enforcement because the impact was extraordinary for the younger generation of the nation's hopes.

Meanwhile, Acting Head of the Dharmasraya Health Office, Yosta Defina, expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of the Forkopimda ranks that had been well established.

"With the cooperation of all stakeholders so that people's diseases can be suppressed," he said

The destruction of evidence from this crime was attended by the Dharmasraya Kejari, the Dharmasraya Police Narcotics Head, the Acting Head of the Health Office, the District Court, and the local prison.
