Former President Director Of PT TransJakarta Kuncoro Wibowo Becomes A Suspect In The PKH Rice Social Assistance Corruption Case
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) officially announced the former President Director of PT TransJakarta M. Kuncoro Wibowo as a suspect today, Wednesday, August 23. He was dragged into the vortex of the corruption case of distributing social assistance (bansos) for the Family Hope Program (PKH) at the Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos)."Equipped with sufficient evidence, it will go up to the investigation stage by naming and announcing several parties as suspects," said KPK Deputy Chair Alexander Marwata at a press conference at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.Kuncoro is a suspect in his status as a former PT Bhanda Ghara Reksa (BGR). The state-owned company is known to have the task of distributing 222,070,230 kilograms of rice social assistance from the Ministry of Social Affairs to 4,934,894 beneficiary families of the PKH program in the country.Apart from Kuncoro, there are also five other suspects. They are the Managing Director of PT Mitra Energi Persada, Ivo Wongkaren; advisory team of PT Primalayan Teknologi Persada, Roni Ramdani, and Richard Cahyanto who are the General Manager of PT PTP.Then, there are also the Commercial Directors of PT BGR, Budi Susanto and the Vice President of Operations of PT BGR April Chuniawan. Ivo, Roni, and Richard have now been detained while the rest have not been forced efforts have been made."Each (detained, red) for 20 days from August 23 to September 11 at the KPK Detention Center," said Alexander.As for this case, PT BGR led by Kuncoro and PT PTP allegedly did not conduct a clear study until a clear calculation regarding the procurement and distribution of social assistance when drafting contracts. Alexander said, the total value of the project at the Ministry of Social Affairs reached Rp326 billion."The full drafting of the contract is determined by the MKW plus the date of the contract is also agreed to make a back date," he explained.In addition, there are allegations that social assistance has never been distributed to beneficiaries. However, there was a payment of Rp. 151 billion to PT PTP from September to December 2020.Then, Alexander said there was a withdrawal of Rp125 billion from the account of PT PTP. "The use is not related to the distribution of rice social assistance," he said.
From this process, Ivo, Roni, and Richard enjoyed Rp. 18.8 billion. Meanwhile, the state lost up to Rp. 127.5 billion for their fraud.
