TikTok Disburses 89 Billion Funds For Creators Who Create Viral Effects
JAKARTA - TikTok realizes that creators who often make Augmented Reality (AR)-based filters or effects have a more impact on the platform. Therefore, the new monetization feature has been launched again.
The company officially announced the Effect Creator Rewards by disbursing US$6 million (Rp89.2 billion) to celebrate and reward securities creators on TikTok
"Effect House makers have had a huge impact on TikTok because their innovative effects have sparked trends, shaped cultures, and inspired people to create content that brings joy to our global community," TikTok said in an official statement, quoted Wednesday, May 17.
"To celebrate and reward securities makers on TikTok more, we are announcing the Securities Maker Award, a new initiative that awards high-performance securities makers," he added.
The billions will later be available to creators in certain areas, such as the US, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and eligible countries for the Creator Fund.
In addition, the program will also offer payments to creators based on community engagement with its effects.
Users are also required to be 18 years of age and over and have 500 thousand views within 90 days of publication, creators will raise $700.
For every 100 thousand videos published afterwards in the same 90 days, creators will collect an additional 140 US dollars (Rp2 million). To qualify, creators must make the effect through the Effect House, TikTok's AR platform.

Furthermore, TikTok also announced the Beta Creativity Program, a revised version of its Creator Fund. The program offers a new formula that provides higher average gross income for eligible video views, giving creators the potential for higher rewards.
In addition, the updated dashboard also provides more insight, including reward estimation, metrics and video performance analytics, and details on video feasibility.
"Required creators must be based on BR, FR, or the US, and have well-puted accounts and at least 10,000 followers with at least 100,000 views in the last 30 days and videos must be of high quality, original content longer than a minute," TikTok explained.
