World's Sex Symbol, Actress Raquel Welch, Passed Away
JAKARTA - The actress known as the world's sex symbol, Raquel Welch passed away on Wednesday, February 15. The artist's manager, Steve Sauer, confirmed the news circulating.
"(Raquel) Welch passed away peacefully this morning due to illness," Steve Sauer quoted PEOPLE as saying today, Thursday, February 16th.
“Her career spans 50 years with 30 films and 50 serials. Golden Globe winner and recently successful with the wig business,” he continued.
The manager did not explain what illness Raquel Welch had. He mentioned the actress left behind two children: Damon Welch and Tahnee Welch.
Raquel Welch is an actress who made her debut in the mid 1960's. Her role in the film One Million Years B.C. and Fantastic Voyage made her popular early in her career.
