Lukas Enembe's Wife And Children Abstain From KPK's Summons
JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) canceled examining the wife and children of the Governor of Papua Lukas Enembe, Yulce Wenda, and Astract Bona Timoramo Enembe on Wednesday, October 5. The reason is that they are absent from the summons of investigators.
"The information we received was that the witnesses did not appear without any confirmation from the investigation team," said Head of the KPK News Section, Ali Fikri, to reporters, Thursday, October 6.
Ali said the two would again be called as witnesses. They were asked to cooperate because their statements were needed to investigate the alleged corruption that ensnared Lukas.
However, it was not specified when the summons would be made. "KPK appeals to all parties who are called as witnesses, in this case, to cooperate in attending the next schedule," he said.

Previously reported, the KPK named Papua Governor Lukas Enembe as a suspect in alleged corruption. The case against him has not yet been disclosed.
Lukas will actually be questioned on Monday, September 26 at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. However, this examination was not carried out because he claimed to be sick and could not provide information.
Next, the anti-corruption commission will call again. However, it has not been revealed when this will be implemented. Lukas was only asked to cooperate in responding to the investigator's summons because his statement was needed to clarify the allegations of corruption that occurred.
