Looking At The 2022 German MotoGP, Honda's Friendly Status At The Sachsenring Circuit Makes Pol Espargaro Optimistic To Get Positive Results

JAKARTA - Repsol Honda racer Pol Espargaro is optimistic ahead of the tenth MotoGP series which will take place in Germany. The reason is, Honda is a team that is friendly with the track at the Sachsenring Circuit.

So far, Repsol Honda has recorded 15 wins in each round of the German MotoGP. The record was made thanks to the impressive performance of Marc Marquez before the rider was injured.

With this fact, Pol Espargaro made it a benchmark to be able to return to record positive results at the 2022 German MotoGP which will be held starting tomorrow.

"We are coming to Germany for the tenth race of the year. (The circuit) Sachsenring is a track where Honda has had a lot of success in the past," Pol Espargaro was quoted as saying by Speedweek, Thursday.

Although he is confident enough to reap positive results with Honda's friendly status with the Sachsenring Circuit, Pol Espargaro also doesn't want to completely depend on luck.

The 31-year-old Spaniard will still try to push himself to perform optimally with his own efforts. One way is to focus on physical condition so that it continues to be excellent.

Espargaro was then grateful that after an unsatisfactory appearance at the Barcelona MotoGP, he had time to rest to restore his physical condition.

"After a very busy test in Barcelona, it's good to have a week without racing, so I can concentrate on physical training," said Pol Espargaro.

Until the tenth series of MotoGP this year, Honda has not shown its tajir. One of the reasons is because of their mainstay racer, Marc Marquez, who had to be absent due to undergoing an injury recovery.
