As Of Today, The Number Of Patients Treated At The Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital Has Increased By 51 People

JAKARTA - The number of patients being treated at Wisma Atlet COVID-19 Special Emergency Hospital at Kemayoran, Jakarta, as of Friday, January 21, increased by 51 people.

"Inpatients who were confirmed positive for COVID-19 in Tower 5 and Tower 6 were 2,687 people, while the original number (one day earlier) was 2,636 people. Inpatients increased by 51 people", said Head of Information for the Joint Defense Area Command I TNI, Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in Jakarta, Antara on Friday, January 21.

From March 23, 2020, to January 21, 2022, the number of patients referred to the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital was 135,437 people. Of that number, 131,0808 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged from the hospital, while 1,074 patients were referred to other hospitals.

For patients who died at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital as of January 21, 2022, there were 596 people.

Meanwhile, the development of the situation at the Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection, Batam, Riau Islands. The number of inpatients at the Galang Island Hospital as of Friday was 48 people.

"There are 48 inpatients, of which 15 are men and 33 are women. All 48 patients have been confirmed positive for COVID-19", he said as quoted from his written statement.

He noted that in the last 24 hours inpatients at the Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection had decreased by 33 people. "As of January 21, 2022, there were 48 inpatients, originally (one day earlier) 81 people", he said.

From April 12, 2020, to January 21, 2022, the Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection received a total of 18,353 patients. Of that number, 18,304 patients have been discharged from the hospital. Galang Island Special Hospital for Infection reported that until January 21, 2022, one patient died from COVID-19.
