SM Entertainment Holds SMCU EXPRESS 2022 Online Concert, For Free!

JAKARTA - The K-pop agency SM Entertainment again held a free online concert in early 2022. Friday, December 10, SM Entertainment announced this online concert titled SMTOWN 2022: SMCU EXPRESS.

SMCU stands for SM Culture Universe, a project where fans can interact with a futuristic metaverse.

The first poster released today shows the travel route filled with SM artists such as Kangta, BoA, TVXQ!, Super Junior, Oh!-GG, SHINee, EXO, Red Velvet, NCT, aespa, and DJ.

This SMTOWN LIVE 2022: SMCU EXPRESS @KWANGYA concert will be held on January 1, 2022 online.

The previous year, SM also released a free online concert titled Culture Humanity as a gift for fans around the world who feel tired from the COVID-19 pandemic. The concert was broadcast via YouTube, U+ IDOL LIVE, Beyond LIVE and others.

In addition, for the first time SM Entertainment will release a special winter album filled with SM artists. Later there will be collaborations between groups which will make this album even more anticipated.

The 2021 Winter SMTOWN: SMCU EXPRESS album will be released on December 27 both physically and digitally. It didn't stop there, they also held a media exhibition titled SMTOWN EXPERIENCE: PLAY @KWANGYA which was held in Seoul.
