JAKARTA - Hendry Ch Bangun Chairman of the Central PWI who was elected by the Indonesian Journalists Association Congress to XXV in Bandung accompanied by H. On that occasion, Hendry said PWI must return to its identity as decided in the PWI Congress in Solo 9 February 1946, 'joint to maintain the country's sovereignty'. Thus, PWI must be present, act, provide solutions in every national problem. Because PWI is not just an organization of journalists but a complete part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.

Therefore, the first activity of the Central PWI was the fulfillment of PWI's return to its kittah, namely launching the strengthening of the National Press and the construction of the Graha Pers Pancasila in Yogyakarta. "In the meeting it was also decided to form a small team of PDPRT administrators in accordance with the mandate from the congress," said Hendry Ch Bangun.

The Head of the Central PWI also emphasized that the management, who is still concurrently in office, should immediately release their positions, both in the management of the Provincial PWI, as well as in the management of other journalist organizations. In accordance with PD PRT, there should be no concurrent positions at all levels of management, and neither in similar organizations.

H. Zulmansyah Chairman of PWI Riau who is also the Formatur of the Central PWI Management Structure hopes that with the spirit of togetherness in the management of the new Central PWI regardless of the group because PWI is a big house for all of us, but due to the limited maximum number of structures, there are several names that are proposed that cannot enter.
