LOMBOK - Lombok International Airport, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) has adjusted airport operational service time to 24 hours during the MotoGP event at the Mandalika Circuit 2023. In addition, to support operations during the 2023 MotoGP event, Lombok Airport has prepared 96 daily operational personnel consisting of elements of Angkasa Pura I, TNI/Polri, KKP, Immigration, and Customs. "In principle, we are ready to support the implementation of the Mandalika MotoGP event," he said. He said, in terms of infrastructure and services at the airport, it is certain that they are ready, because it is the same as those prepared for the 2022 WSBK and MotoGP events as well as flights for the 2023 Hajj pilgrims. A number of supporting infrastructures at Lombok Airport have been improved and have been tested with the 2021 WSBK event or 2022 WSBK and the 2022 MotoGP event. "Lombok Airport is ready to serve the arrival of the 2023 MotoGP event aircraft. The runway has been extended from 2,750 meters to 3,300 meters and has increased its carrying capacity," he said. He said, regarding additional flights or extra flights at Lombok Airport during the 2023 MotoGP period, to date, there are 44 additional domestic flights proposed by four airlines. "In the period 10 to 17 October 2023, Garuda Indonesia proposed 26 additional flights, Citilink 8 flights, Super Air Jet 4 flights, and Air Asia with 6 flights," he said.

Logistics from Dorna sports have arrived at the Mandalika Circuit which was brought by land from Bali via the Lembar port. In addition, after the MotoGP race in Japan was over, as many as 111 tons of logistics for the Mandalika MotoGP racer arrived at Lombok International Airport using a cargo plane and was under a truck to the Mandalika Circuit.
