Making An Integrity Pact, Kaesang Will Confiscate Cadre Assets Involved In Corruption

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep said that he would confiscate the party cadres' assets if anyone was caught in a corruption case.

"We are sad about this corruption case," said Kaesang in Jakarta, quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, October 3.

He said that one of the things that will be fought for if PSI can pass the parliamentary threshold of 4 percent in the 2024 election, his party will voice it to discuss the Asset Confiscation Bill (RUU) in the DPR.

"I have already said this to friends of the Bali DPW and other cadres. God willing, if we enter Senayan, we will fight for it," he said.

He said PSI would make an integrity pact with all cadres so as not to commit a criminal act of corruption.

"We will confiscate their assets later, we will confiscate them internally," he said.

Meanwhile, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) has launched the Log in PSI Movement which opens space for people who want to join the party.

"We want to be political with joy, no one denounces other people or demeans others," he said.

During the meeting, there were a number of young people who stated that they had joined PSI. Starting from former Bekasi KPUD commissioner Pedro, former third generation JKT 48 personnel Zebby and others.

They stated that they were joining PSI and were ready to carry out the party program which was indeed filled with the younger generation.

In addition, Kaesang said that he and the management will continue to make political visits to various places in Indonesia with the aim of introducing this party and party ideology to the community. "There are those who plan to enter politics but are afraid, please join," he said.
