Speaking Of Alert Kaesang Leading PSI, Cak Imin: Don't Let The PKB Voice Be Taken

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin explained what he meant about being alert to the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) which is currently led by the youngest son of President Joko Widodo, Kaesang Pangarep.

Cak Imin admitted that he did not want his party's vote in the 2024 election to be taken by PSI.

"Yes, the name of the election is a competition. Anyone who is present in the competition, especially Mas Kaesang, we know Pak Jokowi's son, of course everyone must be vigilant. Do not let the PKB vote take place," said Cak Imin in South Jakarta, Wednesday, September 27.

Even so, the candidate for the Change Coalition will not worry if it has to compete with PSI in the upcoming 2024 election. However, said Cak Imin, other parties must be careful because Jokowi's son has now become the leader of a political party.

"No, don't worry, just be careful. This is also a matter of caution for other parties. Maybe yes, not only PKB, all parties must be careful," said Cak Imin.

It is known, PSIresmi appointed Kaesang Pangarep as chairman of PSI during the PSI Kopdarnas on Monday, September 25, evening. Kaesang was surprised why Cak Imin was wary of him.

"About Cak Imin, yes... what is being watched out for? That means PSI is being watched out for? or what? means other political parties must be vigilant with PSI. Asked Cak Imin why was he wary of us. Why did he ask us this," said Kaesang at the PSI DPP Office, Jakarta, Tuesday, September 26.

Kaesang also questioned why PSI should be watched out for by Cak Imin. Because he said PSI only got 1.89 percent of the votes in the 2019 election.

"Because after all, we saw yesterday in 2019, how much did you get yesterday? 1.89 percent. Time to be alert with 1.89 percent," he said.
