2 Women And Online Prostitution Pimps Arrested In Banda Aceh, Threatened With 100 Sentences

The Banda Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) uncovered an online prostitution case and arrested three suspected perpetrators.

"It's true, we have arrested three perpetrators of online prostitution crimes who are already very disturbing," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Banda Aceh Police, Kompol Fadillah Aditya Pratama, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 16.

Fadillah said that the disclosure of this case was based on an investigation by means of the Satreskrim cover personnel after receiving information from the public.

Investigation by means of personnel disguised themselves as customers of the perpetrators. From the disclosure, EA (22) was secured with the role of pimp.

"Then there are YM (24) and VN (22) acting as calling women. The three perpetrators are residents of Banda Aceh," he said.

The three perpetrators, said Fadillah, had known each other for a long time and admitted that they had collaborated several times in online prostitution activities in Banda Aceh. So far, they and their friends often hang out at coffee shops.

Fadillah explained, the EA pimp charged Rp. 2 million for one woman to call. Each of these women is given a salary of Rp. 1.3 million, while EA gets a profit of Rp. 1.4 million.

"EA gets a profit of Rp. 1.4 million. Meanwhile, YM and VN each get Rp. 1.3 million per action," he said.

Fadillah explained that the disguise was carried out by searching for contact numbers that could be contacted. After successfully getting a cellphone number, they communicated via the WhatsApp application with the EA pimp for two days.

EA and Satreskrim personnel communicate intensely from August 4 and 5, 2023, so that in talks, EA and YM and VN often hang out in certain warkops.

In the conversation, EA sent several photos of women calling and charged Rp2 million for one woman.

Then, the payment process is carried out by transferring money through EA's BSI bank account.

After the agreement, personnel picked up the pimp and the woman the order had been prepared at the warkop they were hanging out with.

Arriving at the inn, personnel made payments to pimps according to the agreement. Then the pimp left the hotel.

In the hotel room, the call woman was arrested by personnel, while the pimp was arrested in his yard.

"YM and VN were arrested in a hotel room, while EA was arrested in the hotel yard," he said.

In this case, the police confiscated two HP units of Iphone 6 plus, one unit of Iphone 13 Pro Max brand cellphone, one unit of Infinix Smart 6, one BSI ATM card, a hotel bill and money worth Rp. 4 million.

The perpetrators of pimp EA and the two women called YM and VN are strongly suspected of having committed a criminal act / criminal act of organizing, providing facilities or promoting the jarah of adultery, ikhtilat and khalwat as referred to in Article 33 paragraph (3) Jo Article 25 paragraph (2) Jo Article 23 paragraph (2) Qanun No. 6 of 2014 concerning Qanun Jinayat.

"The maximum threat of caning is 100 times and/or a maximum fine of 1000 grams of pure gold and/or imprisonment for a maximum of 100 months," said Fadillah.
