JAKARTA - Member of Commission III of the DPR Santoso reminded the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) not to just publish its findings.
This follows the findings of PPATK related to environmental crime funds of Rp1 trillion which flowed to political parties (political parties). For this reason, he hopes that the polemic of suspicious transactions of Rp349 trillion at the Ministry of Finance will not happen again.
"The strange transaction of Rp. 349 trillion has not yet been completed. The settlement has yet to appear again PPATK's statement regarding the alleged existence of environmental crime funds flowing to political parties," Santoso said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 9.
He asked if there were party administrators who had businesses in the environmental sector not to be linked as businesses of political party institutions. The reason is, the Political Party Law emphasizes that every political party is not allowed to have a business entity.
According to Santoso, PPATK is not a law enforcement agency. Therefore, PPATK should convey its findings to the authorities without having to be distributed to the public through the media.
"Towards the current election, there should be no state institutions because their statements that have not been proven in court cause electability losses for political parties," he concluded.

According to him, PPATK is currently focusing on exploring environmental financial crimes. Because, until now, none of the election participants have been free from these crimes.
"Because PPATK is currently focusing on green financial crime, this is what is happening. Then what happened? Well, we found how come there doesn't seem to be any accounts from political contest participants who are not exposed," he said.
