BENGKULU - The Bengkulu Provincial Health Office has prepared 1,636 doses of the meningooccus meningoccus vaccine for pilgrims for Hajj candidates (CJH) in the region who will depart this year.

Head of the Surveillance and Immunization Section of the Bengkulu Provincial Health Office, Eplen Yunidarmi, said that the meningitis vaccine had been distributed by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) in mid-March and began to be distributed. "The amount according to the Governor's Decree is the same according to the allocation of the number of Hajj pilgrims from Bengkulu as much as 1,636 doses of vaccine," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Friday, March 31. He said that the regions submitted a letter requesting a meingoccus vaccine for the Hajj pilgrims in accordance with the quota to the Bengkulu Provincial Health Office. For the distribution of the meningitis vaccine, namely the City of Bengkulu 312 doses, North Bengkulu Regency 200 doses, South Bengkulu Regency, South Bengkulu Regency 133 doses, Rejang Lebong Regency 227 doses. Then Mukomuko Regency 1669 doses, Seluma Regency 168 doses, Kabupaten Kaur 107 doses, Kepahiang Regency 111 doses, Kepahiang Regency 94 doses, Lebong Regency 94 doses, Central Bengkulu Regency 94 doses.

The Health Office has also ensured that all pilgrims for Hajj candidates have received the first, second and third doses of COVID-19 vaccination in accordance with the national vaccination scheme as one of the mandatory requirements for the departure of the pilgrimage.
