A Time Called You (Netflix)

JAKARTA - Netflix released the official trailer for their latest Korean series, A Time Called You. This time-slip genre drama shows the story of romance wrapped in thriller played by Jeon Yeo Been and Ahn Hyo Seop.

The trailer starts with Jun Hee (Jeon Yeo Been) and Ko Yeon Jun (Ahn Hyo Seop) talking about time. Jun Hee asks why Yeon Jun always likes movies about time travel every time they watch.

"We can go back to the past, and change the future," replied Ko Yeon Jun.

Day by day, Jun Hee received a photo that featured a woman who looked like herself posing with Ko Yeon Jun. Jun Hee knows that it's not herself but she has no clue who that person is.

Then the trailer changes to the present, when Jun Hee tries to let Ko Yeon Jun go. He heard a cassette and woke up in 1998 where he was a high school boy named Min Ju.

Min Ju was surprised when he saw a man standing beside him, but he was not Ko Yeon Jun but Si Heon (Ahn Hyo Seop). After waking up in Min Ju's body, Si Heon began to like Min Ju's changing character.

On the other hand, Min Ju has a friend, In Gyu (Kang Hoon), who has had feelings for a long time. However, In Gyu held back that feeling after finding out that Si Heon was starting to have the same feelings for Min Ju.

The three of them became friends in the midst of Jun Hee's struggle to find out what happened to her and Ko Yeon Jun.

This series is directed by Kim Jin Won who previously directed My Country: The New Age (2019) and Just Between Lovers (2017). The script was written by Choi Hyo Bi who also wrote Jeong Nyeon, Kim Tae Ri's latest drama.

A Time Called You was adapted from the Taiwan series "Someday or One Day" which aired in 2019. The original series has been broadcast in seven countries and this drama has become the title with the most viewers in Taiwan for 13 years.

The 12-episode series will air on Netflix starting September 8, 2023.
