Missing Day When Checking Livestock, A North Konawe Resident Found Selamat
KENDARI - The Kendari National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) office found a resident named Ucok (35) who was missing when he went to his garden in Asaki Village, Asera District, North Konawe Regency, Southeast Sulawesi, in a safe condition. Acting Head of the Kendari Basarnas Office, Rudi, said the victim was found by the joint SAR Team in a state of safety, at around 14:05 WITA with a weak condition. "The joint SAR team managed to find the victim about 1.25 kilometers from the estimated location where the victim was reported. The victim was found safe," he said, quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, May 5. He said the victim was then evacuated to his home in Wanggudu Village, Asera District to be handed over to his family. The joint SAR team evacuated Ucok by using an emergency stretcher. The victim's search operation involved elements from the North Konawe SAR Alert Unit, Koramil Asera, North Konawe Police, North Konawe Fire Service (Damkar) North Konawe Fire Department, North Konawe BPBD, surrounding community, and the victim's family. "With the victim's family being found safe, the operation was declared complete and closed, all elements involved were returned to their respective units," he said. The victim reportedly went to his garden in the Asaki Village area, Tuesday 2 May, at around 16.00 WITA to check his cows using the canoe.

The habit of the victim returning to his house was at 17.00 WITA. However, until that time, Ucok never came home. At that time, the search was carried out by the family and the community with no results. The incident was then reported to Basarnas on Wednesday (3/5), at around 09.25 WITA and the victim was found safe.
