The arrest began with the report of M (39) who became the victim of the perpetrator in November 2022. At that time, at around 07.00 WIB, the perpetrator came to the victim at the Shari Manggis housing estate.
At that time, the perpetrator borrowed the victim's motorbike with the excuse of going to look for a rented place to live. However, until the evening, the perpetrator never returned the victim's motorbike.
After trying to find it, the victim then received information that his motorbike had been taken by the perpetrator's friend. The victim who felt aggrieved then reported the incident to the police.
“ Since his motorbike never returned, the victim then made a report to the Solok Police Headquarters on July 21, 2023 yesterday. From that report, we and the opsnal team conducted an investigation into the whereabouts of the perpetrators, ” he said.
The team then received information regarding the whereabouts of the perpetrators and immediately made an arrest at his home. At the same time at the location, the police secured the victim's motorbike.
"We have secured the perpetrator and evidence to the Solok Police Headquarters for further processing. The perpetrator was charged under Article 372 in conjunction with 378 of the Criminal Code,” he said.
