JAKARTA - The last group of Hajj candidates from Indonesia arrived in the Holy Land on Saturday 24 June. The Consul General of the Republic of Indonesia in Jeddah Eko Hartono welcomed the arrival of the last flying group (kloter) of pilgrims for Hajj from Indonesia at King Abdulaziz International Airport, Jeddah.
"We welcome the last batch of pilgrims from Batam, as many as 165 (members) of the congregation. Alhamdulillah, they arrived safely," said Eko, as quoted by Antara.
Group 34 Batam Embarkation (BTH-34) which includes 165 people arrived at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah City on Saturday at 03.46 Saudi Arabia time.
After landing in Jeddah, they immediately took the bus to an inn in Makkah City.
The congregation in the BTH-34 group gets a place to stay in Sector 4 of Makkah City.
After arriving at Makkah, the congregation will perform the Umrah pilgrimage and prepare themselves to carry out a series of Hajj services.
Head of Sector 4 of the Organizing Committee for Hajj for the Working Area of Makkah Haris Fadillah said that the congregation would carry out mandatory Umrah after resting at the inn.
"If you have recovered and fresh (fresh) you just leave for Umrah, so that your condition is maintained," said Haris.
