Task Force Records No Cases Of COVID-19 Death In Indonesia Today

JAKARTA - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 11,515 specimens were examined today. As a result, there were 186 new positive cases of COVID-19.

"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 6,811,201 people and active cases have dropped 113 to 9,606 cases," said COVID-19 Task Force data, Monday, June 19.

Today's recovered cases increased by 186 people, bringing the total to 6,639,751 recovered people. Then, positive confirmed cases who died did not increase with a total of 161,844 deaths.

The province with the newest cases was in West Java with 23 cases and a total of 1,251,682 cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta which has 13 new cases with a total of 1,567,979 cases. Banten has 7 new cases and a total of 372,195 cases. DI Yogyakarta has 5 new cases and a total of 232,380 cases.

The province with the most recovered cases today belongs to DKI Jakarta with an additional 61 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an additional 25 recovered cases, West Java with an additional 18 recovered cases, and East Java with an additional 16 recovered cases.

In addition, the number of specimens that had been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigen reached 117,230,398.

"Positive results per number of people examined or this week's positivity rate of 1.51 percent", he wrote.

The number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or who are currently categorized as suspected cases was recorded at 433 people. Currently, 34 provinces have had cases of COVID-19.

Furthermore, currently there are 203,856,873 people who have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 174,913,078 the second dose of vaccination. Then, the third dose of vaccination was 68,970,593 and the fourth dose was 3,273,273. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 234,666,020 people.
