Bareskrim Starts Investigating Cases Of Alleged Domestic Violence Of PKS Politician Bukhori Yusuf
The Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police has begun investigating the alleged domestic violence (KDRT) case of a member of the DPR PKS faction, Bukhori Yusuf, who was reported by his second wife with the initials M.
Meanwhile, the domestic violence case was handled by the Bandung Police. Then, transferred to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.
"Currently, the case files are still being studied by Bareskrim investigators," said Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramdhan in his statement, Tuesday, May 23.
The case file is still being studied because the PPA Unit Sub-Directorate V of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police just received it, Monday, May 23, yesterday.
In the file, Bukhori Yusuf is suspected of committing violence or minor abuse. Thus, it is suspected of violating Article 352 of the Criminal Code.
"The files for the criminal case of minor persecution of 352 of the Criminal Code have been transferred from the Bandung Polda West Java Police," said Ramadhan.
For information, Bukhori Yusuf was reported by M to the Bandung Police in November 2022. Over time or May 9, 2023, the investigation process was transferred to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Police.

As previously reported, the Chairman of the House of Representatives Honorary Court (MKD) Adang Daradjatun explained that the examination of DPR member Bukhori Yusuf (BY) failed to be carried out because he had resigned as a member of the DPR as well as a cadre of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS).
"At first, I was ready to do an inspection, but it turns out that Mr. BY has resigned from the party," said Adang as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, May 23.
Adang said Bukhori Yusuf had resigned before reports of complaints about domestic violence (KDRT) entering the MKDPR on Monday (2/2).
"It's been a long time, it's been a few months. He's an ordinary person, he's not a member of the party anymore," he added.
The member of the PKS Advisory Board said that his party also has a disciplinary commission that has investigated alleged disciplinary violations by Bukhori Yusuf.
"It's alreadydong, because at PKS there is a disciplinary commission, when he found out there was a problem, yes, the disciplinary commission carried out the process. Finally, he (BY) resigned," he explained.
In accordance with DPR regulations, continued Adang, the DPR MKD will not continue the examination process for Bukhori Yusuf because he has resigned as a member of the council.
