James Gunn On Guardians Of The Galaxy Duration 3: Not Just A Waste

JAKARTA - James Gunn believes fans about the duration of the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. He made sure no seconds were wasted and everything was useful for the film.

Not a few fans have sent questions to James Gunn. The DC Studio leader also publicly replied to public questions about the continuation of his film at Marvel after moving to DC.

"James, is it true that Guardians Volume 3 will last 2 hours 29 minutes?" asked a fan.

"About that, but it's not certain. And I promise, it won't be wasted for a second. There are no fillers. It's important to feel every development of the Guardians character, not just this film, but for the trilogy (or be able to touch the plus trilogy)," replied James Gunn.

The tweet was then replied to by other fans. He regretted if the duration of the Marvel film became long because the story was too long-winded.

"Focus on products. I buy the full experience, not 100 minutes of entertainment," another replied.

"I don't need to apologize. I'm enthusiastic about the film and its duration," replied James Gunn again.

In addition, other fans asked why no official duration was announced yet. Gunn replied, "The duration is around that. Only the end credit length is expected during the time the film premieres."

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is James Gunn's last work with Marvel. It is known that he accepted the offer to join DC with Peter Safran.

Meanwhile, the film Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theaters on May 5.
