JAKARTA - Hari ini, Jumat, 9 Juli, BTS merilis CD single untuk lagu mereka, Butter dengan satu lagu baru berjudul Permission to Dance. Pada hari yang sama, BTS juga meluncurkan video musik perdana yang dinantikan para ARMY (sebutan penggemar).
Video berdurasi lima menit ini berisi BTS yang menari di tengah terik panas. Hal itu membuat orang-orang di sekitar mereka menjadi penasaran dan video diakhiri dengan menari bersama.

Lagu Permission to Dance adalah lagu pop berbahasa Inggris dengan dominasi string dan piano. Lagu ini dibuat ditulis oleh Ed Sheeran, Steve Mac, Johnny McDaid, dan Jenna Andrews.
Sesuai judulnya, lagu ini berisi pesan bahwa tidak butuh banyak bicara, mereka tidak perlu izin untuk bersenang-senang.
