Para pendukung The Three Lions kerap kali menggaungkan kalimat ini setiap kali skuat kebanggaan mereka tampil dalam kejuaraan besar seperti Euro (Piala Eropa) atau Piala Dunia.
Football is Coming Home merupakan penggalan lirik dari lagu berjudul Three Lions yang dinyanyikan The Lighting Seeds bersama David Baddiel dan Frank Skinner.
Awalnya, lagu ini diciptakan untuk menyemangati timnas Inggris yang akan berlaga dalam Piala Eropa 1996.
Namun, pada Piala Dunia 2018 di Rusia lagu ini sering berkumandang seiring melajunya tim asuhan Gareth Southgate ke semifinal sebelum disingkirkan tuan rumah.
Pada Euro 2020, Harry Kane dkk sukses melaju ke partai puncak usai mengalahkan Denmark dengan skor 1-0.
