JAKARTA Some time ago, Netflix said it had no intention of launching an iPad version of the app on the AppleVision Pro. Apparently, YouTube and Spotify had similar thoughts.

From the 9to5google report, the social media and music platform will not run their app on Vision Pro. Although the iPad version of the app can be added automatically to Vision Pro, they choose not to include it.

YouTube, citing fromloomberg, said that it would not add original apps to Vision Pro for now. The company explains that YouTube users can use YouTube on Safari in Vision Pro.

Meanwhile, Spotify told The Verge that they had no plans to launch a version of the original app on Vision Pro. They also don't expect to activate their iPad app to run on the device when it launches.

Apart from YouTube and Spotify, several major apps that refuse to enter the iPad app version into Vision Pro are Instagram, Threads, Facebook, WhatsApp, and TikTok. However, there is a possibility these developers will change their minds in the future.

Actually, there are two application addition options in Vision Pro. Users can add original applications that have been developed and optimized according to the spatial computer device or allow applications on the iPad to run for Vision Pro.

If developers ban their iPad version of the app running on Vision Pro, Apple will not add the app to the list. User access will also be limited and they will not be able to run the app on Vision Pro.

Apple will launch Vision Pro on February 2 so developers still have two weeks to change their minds. They could overturn the decision to stop the iPad app on Vision Pro or create a genuine app on the device.
